View detailsLuxembourg runs a national smoking-cessation programme set up by the Ministry of Health and the Caisse nationale de santé (CNS). You can reach it on the toll-free number 8002 6767, where advisers answer Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:30. The programme arranges a medically supervised quit attempt with the doctor of your choice, spread over about eight months of regular consultations. The Fondation Cancer also offers free cessation advice by phone, video or in person, and free consultations with a tobacco specialist are available through the Ligue médico-sociale and several hospitals. Because Luxembourg is multilingual, help is commonly offered in several languages.
